Jon Frye has been involved in educational leadership and innovation for more than 20 years. Beginning as an instructor in mathematics, physics, and technology, he transitioned to leadership roles, including serving as a principal at all grade levels (PK-12) and assistant superintendent. He has assisted various districts and schools in advancing achievement, academic and career offerings, and opportunities for all students. In more than 10 years of involvement with CTE at the district, state, and national level with ACTE as a representative of the Tennessee CTE Directors, he has a strong working knowledge of career education at all levels. Using an understanding of instruction, content, and quality educational outcomes to promote a unified vision of traditional academics and career education has been key to his development of school and student successes in ACT, certification and training attainment, and post-secondary opportunities. Jon has a MS in education administration and an EdS in curriculum along with more than 30 years of work in public education in Tennessee.
