Michelle Hudson

Research Assistant

Michelle Hudson started our program as a senior, dual-enrolled at New York University (NYU) and the University of North Carolina (UNC, Charlotte).  She will graduate (May 2022) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with the hopes of being accepted into law school this fall.  Her focus has been on societal issues that impact underrepresented populations, and she advocates movements that support education and human rights.

Working at NS4ed as a research assistant has allowed Michelle to demonstrate her research and investigative skills by compiling data that serves a widespread purpose for educators nationwide.   According to Michelle, “Working as a research assistant, alongside Dr. Goins, has challenged and enlightened me in ways that I never thought I could be.  As a result, I have a different perspective on the impact that education has in society and the imperative need to provide equitable opportunities for all students.”
