As NS4ed’s Client Engagement Manager, Patrick McKinnon is responsible for working across all customer accounts to ensure educator satisfaction and success of NS4ed’s portfolio of products and systems. Patrick’s goal in this position is to build relationships and a community of trust with educators that result in positive learning experiences for students.
Patrick has worked in the education space in various contexts, including spending 5 years in Guizhou, China, facilitating English Language Learning and engaging public officials, educators, and students in educational exchange programs. After his experience in China, Patrick returned to school to complete a Master of Science degree in Teaching English Language Learners from Syracuse University, which led to a teaching position at Syracuse University. Patrick is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Course Facilitator. Later, Patrick transitioned out of the classroom to instructional design. He spent the last two years working as an instructional designer and pursuing an additional Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation.
Patrick resides in Syracuse, New York. He enjoys hockey, boating, and watching his kids grow up in his free time! He was also a former NY State Basketball referee.
